Who We Are
Hunt Family Vineyards is rooted in tradition and driven by growth. Formerly Foster Family Farms, this 180-acre vineyard in Louisburg, NC has produces muscadine grapes for over 20 years. Today, we proudly carry on that legacy with a focus on quality, sustainability, and serving our community.
Our Story
In 2025, the Hunt Family embraced the opportunity to carry on the vineyard’s legacy, keeping the land in agriculture and the vines producing. With 100 acres of established muscadine grapes, we’re bringing fresh energy and new ideas to build a sustainable future for the vineyard and North Carolina agriculture.
Our Vineyard Today
Hunt Family Vineyards is one of the largest muscadine vineyards in the Southeast. We grow five muscadine varieties— Carlos, Doreen, Noble, Scuppernong, and Jumbo— supplying winemakers, juice producers, fresh markets, and U-pick customers across the region. From vine to harvest, everything we do is rooted in quality, tradition, and a strong connection to the land.
