Behind the Vine: An Elevated Editorial & Industry Soirée at Hunt Family Vineyards
On October 22nd, 2025, Hunt Family Vineyards opened its gates for a remarkable first look at the next great wedding destination in the Southeast - welcoming an intimate guest list of top-tier planners and photographers from across the Carolinas and beyond. Curated in partnership with Taryn Stark Wyant Event Planning & Design and its sister company Harlow & Oak, the exclusive Planners & Photographers Launch was a breathtaking convergence of inspiration, connection, and design sophistication.
The Vision
At the heart of the event lay two distinct editorial shoots, thoughtfully styled and executed to showcase the rich versatility of our venues-in-progress: The Vintner’s Garden and The Greenhouse at Hunt. Each tableau was designed as an immersive experience - a living, breathing vignette that transformed every detail into art.
The Vintner’s Garden Editorial
Set against the backdrop of our iconic Sentinel Tree, featured a palette of layered greens, natural textures, and creamy whites. Florals cascaded over architectural frames, while the styling leaned into a narrative of cultivated elegance and editorial minimalism. Think sculptural romance with a garden soul.
The Greenhouse at Hunt
Telling a story of moody opulence and decadent texture. Velvet draping, deep crimson florals, and fruit-laden tables created a setting reminiscent of a Renaissance still life, softened by late-day light and gilded accents. Every element celebrated rich contrast and sensory indulgence.
The Creative Partners
This day would not have been possible without the talent and generosity of our incredible vendor partners - each of whom brought their signature excellence to the event.
Photography: Perry Vaile captured the day with her signature editorial mastery, preserving both grandeur and intimacy in every frame.
Videography: Rouse Cinema created filmic magic throughout the day, offering content reels and a forthcoming highlight video.
Floral Design: Stoneblossom Floral translated both editorial visions into immersive, sculptural installations.
Attire & Bridal Styling: Simply Blush Bridal provided couture ensembles that balanced structure with romance, while Starlit Beauty Co. and Makeup by Mikayla Rose elevated our models to editorial perfection.
Rentals: Gather & Glow, Blooming Walls, Golden Grape Vintage China, and Curated Events Raleigh curated layered tabletop and lounge designs that framed each space with intention.
Stationery & Signage: Olive Paper provided bespoke calligraphy and print goods that tied the design together with elegance and cohesion.
Catering & Bar: Southside Sugar Cake Co. presented editorial-worthy cake designs, while Half Shells NC, Ever and Also Charcuterie, and Cannon Catering provided exquisite tastes for the reception and vendor meals. C’est La Vino’s chic tap truck was a showstopping centerpiece at cocktail hour.
Transportation: Sleek Transportation ensured our guests moved through the property in comfort and style.
A Special Guest: The Bayfield Farm lent their stunning Clydesdale to one of the editorial Shoots, bringing another touch of magic to the experience
The Soirée
The day culminated in a sunset cocktail mixer and seated dinner beneath twinkle lights and the stars. The table was set with care, laughter and ideas flowed, and we celebrated a shared vision: to bring meaningful, high-touch weddings to this special place.
